09:00 Departure for Šyša polders.
The region Šyša polders is famous for hay and grass feed production across the region of Eastern Europe. High humidity levels through spring to summer ensures high quality grass production. Moreover, wildlife of Šyša polders is protected by law.

10:30 Departure for Ventės Ragas.
On a peninsula washed by the Curonian Lagoon is one of the main bird migration routes. Ventės Ragas is one of the first ornithological station in Europe operating from 1929. Astonishing view could take your breath away while looking from the oldest lighthouse in Lithuania.

12:00 Departure for Rusnė village.
Rusnė is one of the oldest, most unique and the most interesting settlements of Nemunas Delta region in Lithuania. Village is famous for its landscape and wooden architecture. It is interesting that some parts of Rusnė are located below the Baltic Sea level.

13:30 Departure to Biomass processing facility VŠĮ Pievų paukščiai in Dreverna.
The primary scope of the factory work is nature conservation. By recycling late-cut grass from natural wetlands, which is no longer suitable for fodder, the factory maintains the unique habitats of Europe’s rarest songbird – the Aquatic warbler. This small factory fills a missing gap of a self-sustaining, closed nature conservation system ensuring that biomass will not accumulate in wetlands, which are now rare in Europe. In this way, they make sure that this habitat is protected.

The 98 kilometre-long Curonian Spit, a sand peninsula that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea, is widely regarded as one of the most amazing natural places in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is often called the pearl of the Baltic Sea. Nida is known as one of the most beautiful towns located in this magical natural spot.

09:00 Walking to the Parnidis Dune and free time in town of Nida.
Blown by harsh winds, the Parnidis Dune rises up to as many as 52 meters above sea level. A scenic viewpoint constructed at the top of the dune allows one to see a wide panorama of the surroundings of the town of Nida. While exploring the town streets later, you will notice a unique ancient architecture and preserved interior details of fishermen’s houses, small cafes, cozy courtyards, beautifully arranged coastline, frequently visited by ducks and swans.

12:00 Lunch in Nida.

13:00 Departure for Vilnius.

18:30 Arriving to Vilnius.
